What are you looking for in a nanny?
Your children are precious, we understand that. When we vet our nannies we look for the following attributes:
- Responsibility and maturity.
- A genuine love and desire to care for children.
- A friendly, calm disposition.
- A stable individual.
- The ability to communicate with children.
- Trained or sufficiently experienced in childcare.
- Flexibility.
The interviewing process
As an agency we will:
- Interview prospective nannies.
- Vet and check their references.
As a responsible parent we request that you please:
- Conduct an interview with the nanny.
- Contact previous employers. The nanny should provide you with written references (if she has previous experience),
we strongly recommend that you telephone or write to the previous employers.
This will provide you with the opportunity to compare your requirements against that of the previous employer and so assist you in making the final decision.
